The Weingut (translated: Winery or Vineyard) Passau is all about the wine and good food to pair with it. The philosophy at the Weingut is to focus on the myriad wines it has to offer and have a bistro-style eatery alongside. Its select menu is artfully prepared in the open kitchen while you watch. Choose from entrees such as suckling pig or fried sea bass. Wine aficionado will find choices of reds, whites and sparkling wines from vintners in Austria, Italy, Spain and even the New World available at Weingut. Wir waren das erste Mal da, und meine Frau und ich sind schlichtweg begeistert von den Kochkünsten, den frischen Lebensmittel und der überaus freundlichen Bedienung. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Unser Motto: lieber weniger oft zum Essen gehen, dafür ab und zu ins Weingut.
