   I was really disappointed with the fact that they did not even care to acknowledge that we were there to celebrate a birthday! I had specifically mentioned when booking through OpenTable that we were celebrating a birthday, yet nothing was done, though we noticed that this was being acknowledged in certain other tables! I will never go back again!

   Bob our server was the best. Great vibe on SD They need valet parking. Don’t go and try to park when there is a Padres game. Valet across the street was $50.00!

   We frequent Water Grill during baseball season since we are season ticket holders. We had our reservation for right after the game ended and were seated within a few minutes. Excellent service and the food was delicious as usual but we were seated as a two top next to a party of 8 highly intoxicated 20 something females that were basically screaming over each other so much that we could not hear our conversation between the two of us. we will be back but we should have been moved once the girls were seated and their voices escalated to a high piercing volume. easier to move two than eight. It was a wonderful opening day and great way to start the season but not a great way to end the evening.

    I spent very good time! There are many delicious dishes! My favorite is Clam Chowder!
