   I have been eating at Vic and Angelos for at least 12 years. The food was always good and the prices fair. But, tonight for the FIRST TIME the food was awful. The prices were high and the chicken was like cardboard, even hard t cut. The mushroom sauce tasted like it came from a can and they gave us very little mashed potatoes. The price for one dish was $38. I always ate the vegetarian pizza but was told they NO longer have it on the Menu. I was very disappointed in the entire experience, except for the wonderful people watching outside at a table facing Atlantic Avenue. I was told they are under new management, and it shows big time. We did not eat much of the chicken and told the waiter, but he just shrugged his shoulders. My friend ordered the Spaghetti with meat sauce and she did not like it at all. It was not good either. If they are under new management, they have a lot to do. I am very disappointed. And, for the price we could have gone anywhere else and had much better food.

   We always have a great time at Dick Angelo’s. We try to use the same waiter. He goes by the name of G great guy just a great atmosphere and great food.

   Eating anywhere on the Ave in season is chaotic at best. The restaurant was fully booked on a Saturday night as expected. The restaurant is loud. The service was pretty decent especially considering the crowd. The waiter did his best to insure we were taken care of. The food was good. I found that the prices for an Italian restaurant at this level to be over priced with most of their main pasta dishes from $34-$40 and their chicken and veal from $40-$55. Drinks were $18 each.

   Not worth the money. Lots of choices on the strip. Go elsewhere .trust me….equal money elsewhere is a better ambiance and food.

   The quality was terrible and with the prices being ridiculously expensive to begin with it made the food experience awful. We will not return.

   They used to have some of the best pizza in the area but recently changed the recipe and the new pizza is not good. The pasta was overcooked and mushy.

    This was a really disappointing experience. They changed the pizza, it is not longer good. It is not longer a large rectangle and tasted like it was a frozen reheat. Also, the prices are completely jacked up for the holidays. A complete rip off, so many better restaurants in the area.
