Standing out like a fresh tattoo on a burly forearm, The Vault Restaurant serves mouth-watering martinis, delicious wines and fabulous food including Steaks, fresh Seafoods and gourmet Pastas. For those of you craving something casual we also have Burgers, Tacos and a fun kids menu.

Once inside, you will be greeted by an eclectic, lively room, a diverse menu and tantalizing cocktails, including “the best Caesar in town.” First built in 1948, The Vault retains many of its original features, including the concrete bank vault.

Outside the private vault, guests are seated in the restaurant’s lounge or dining room, surrounded by an eclectic décor, including bicycle frames, ornate mirrors and a tiki lounge! The funky style combined with live jazz or blues music and you’ve got yourself a hip and quirky restaurant, with a cool, laissez-faire vibe. The Vault’s diverse menu features Northwest cuisine, offering dishes that are simple, yet rich in flavour.

    Very lovely ambience. The Christmas decorations made for a visually quaint Seasons Greetings! Had the seafood soup, it was wonderful! My husband had the Seafood stew and he loved it. Haven’t been to Vault in years and I really think they are still the best go to in Cloverdale.

    I have enjoyed eating here in the past, but was not impressed this time. The restaurant seemed overpacked and extremely loud. The service was slow, and the food was mediocre. Not sure I’d return.

    Food was amazing. we had two orders of steaks (different entree), rib and salmon entrees. all of them were prepared properly. Appies were good, but i would like more seasoning on the shrimp.

    This was out second time eating here. The first time was amazing. This time our food was tepid at best. Not even close to hot. Restaurant was not busy when we arrived but filled up shortly after we ordered. It took quite some time to get the food. Didn't complain because we had a show we needed to get to and didn't have time for them to remake the food. The food was tasty - but cold burger and fries and pasta dish not ideal.....

    We got our appys which were good but when it came to mains we had to wait almost a hour and when we got our food it was cold. The food also did not taste good. Our server was barely around and when we tried to get the bill we had to wait till she finished a random conversation with the table next to us which took over 20 mins. Most likely will never go again and do not recommend going on a friday night

    I ordered a breaded chicken breast with a creamy taragon sauce with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. If there was more than a tablespoon of the sauce, I would be surprised. I could not taste the tarragon at all even though tarragon has a fairly strong flavour. The mashed potatoes were similarly bland and did not have a "creamy texture. I found the service to be rushed. Our mains were delivered prior to. the appy dishes being cleared. We felt extremely rushed and were basically pushed out in 45 minutes after drinks, appies and the mains. Along with the high noise level, not a pleasant, relaxing dinner experience.

    Food was amazing and well decorated. Except for waitress accidentally dropping the empty dishes on us(felt bad for her but have to dry clean hubby's jacket), it was a lovely evening.
