Live jazz nights bring so much energy to our Arlington neighborhood! And somehow, a burger and fries tastes better with live music

This restaurant & bar is probably the most upscale in Arlington without any “stuffy” feeling/vibe. Darker lighting (with small table lights to see menu) makes for a nice ambience. I have been here several times for lunch and dinner. My favs are the chicken sausage flatbread, Bourbon steak tips, Bolognese, beet salad. The burger beef is high quality and cooked perfectly but tends to lack flavor (tried twice); a simple touch of salt and pepper would make it tastier. Some Thursdays they have live jazz. Cocktails are made well. Service has always been super — attentive and friendly. Will continue to go back a couple times a month.

I was disappointed with the food. Seemed like it wasn’t fresh and small portions for the price. I was there for brunch and was not crowded.

My flatbread was outstanding, thin crust style, sauce had a good zing to it. On the other hand he eggplant ricotta's sauce lacked luster , bland. The cheesecake was no tang to it. It wasn't bad; it was just forgettable. My husband had a glazed ribs appetizer which was very flavorful. The service was relaxed and attentive. We will go back. My husband's apple dessert left him underwhelmed.

The food is delicious. We enjoy the new menu. Our server was friendly and efficient. It was a great jazz music night last evening. Fun to hear live music.

Always happy to go to TRYST! Had really nice dinner Pork Schnitzel with mashed potatoes! My husband had a few appetizers as his meal. Ribs and shrimp taco. I would definitely have the schnitzel again ! Next time though I would ask for something other than the potatoes, which were mediocre. Also, a suggestion would be to offer Sam Adams Just the Haze as a Non Alcoholic beer. The Athletic is just not as good.

Everything we ordered was delicious! The flatbread w sausage 3 people really enjoyed and another liked the shrimp taco and roasted carrots. Our waitress was wonderful: funny, efficient and down to earth! Will be back!
