Trattoria Il Mulino, the acclaimed casual chic restaurant concept from iconic Il Mulino New York, debuts its fourth trattoria location in downtown Nashville. Guests will enjoy traditional Italian cuisine from the Abruzzo region of Italy under the direction of Il Mulino New York’s Executive Chef Michele Mazza with Chef Konstantin Rubis, adding Nashville influences to the menu.

Menu categories will include soups, salads and antipasti; salumi and cheeses; premium vegetables; wood-fired pizzas; pasta, seafood and steak entrees; and dessert.

The restaurant centerpiece is the signature hand crafted glass paneled wine cabinet, featuring a curated selection of over 350 wine labels from around the world. The restaurant also has a spacious patio on 5th Ave for enjoying al fresco dining.

Had a wonderful meal here last night. Was our first time at this restaurant and we were so impressed. Very nice vibe. Delicious cocktails and the best service. Mariana and Nicholette took great care of us. Kobe kept our waters filled throughout the meal. Food was delicious. The salmon and chicken parm were done perfectly. Generous portions. Recommend this restaurant highly!!

The initial experience was very poor. We were ignored by several members of the staff. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation and were ignored. Evidently our reservation coincided with the time they open. We were unaware. We were going to a concert at Bridgestone and made our reservation on open table according to their hours of operation . We were finally told to sit at the bar…the lady bartender informed us they were not open yet but a gentleman waited on us. At that point, it was 4:22 and they open at 4:30. He was very pleasant and accommodating. She continued to ignore us. When taken to our table, the service and wait staff were spectacular. The scallops and risotto, amazing. Initial service issues should be addressed but overall… great food and ambiance.

The service was fantastic. Our meal was really good. The dessert was very small for the cost. That was disappointing, although it tasted great, just very small for the cost. The atmosphere was fantastic!!
