Service was very…continental? Our drinks took well over 20 minutes to come out and there were only a handful of tables in the restaurant as we were early for our 6pm reservation. Calamari starter was tasty but didn’t seem to contain a lot of calamari, was more batter than anything. My husband’s order of all in fried rice was great. My beef bulgogi was fine but full of onions - I am not used to it containing that many onions. The s’mores cake dessert was the part of the night. This was probably a once and done but it was a fun night.

Crab Rangoon tasted and smelled fishy, ribs were tough and cold! No manager touched our table after we sent the food back. We were not offered anything else. Drinks were fine, but we were so turned off by the food and lack of customer service we left. Our server was nice but seemed disappointed when we decided against the prefixed Valentine’s Day menu. I’d go back for drinks and ambience. Stay away from the food and it’s a fun as a gimmick

Trader Vic's Atlanta is definitely a destination! It is absolutely worth a trip downtown and even the $30 parking! We had the Valentine's Honi Honi menu and it was outstanding from start to finish. The staff is lovely from excellent table service (Chryslin!) to the manager to Chef Julio, who runs an AMAZING kitchen. Our menu was pork bao, chateaubriand, duchess potatoes, creamed spinach and a very fancy chocolate raspberry dessert. All perfectly executed and perfectly seasoned. Delightful! Trader Vic's is the last original tiki bar in America and it delivers on tiki atmosphere, drinks and really great food.

Very good service and not too crowded on a Wednesday night. Hard to find, but just ask for directions, it’s worth it. Fun Polynesian themed restaurant.

We had high hopes for this one but was disappointed…the atmosphere, story and ambiance were great. However the food was very overpriced. The rice dish was dry and the spices did not blend well. The appetizer was good. Drinks were good but pricey. I brought my entire family here to celebrate my husbands birthday and absolutely nothing was special about that. My suggestion would be to stop here for a drink and appetizer to enjoy the ambiance.

It's been 20+ years since I've been to a Trader's Vic so my last known experience back then was very good.... However, this trip didn't come close to what I remember. The food was overcooked, and dry and wasn't to the level I remember or should be for the competition. The band was a nice touch but very loud, and the music had nothing to do with the restaurant's theme. The price value was good but I think I'll wait another 20 years for my next visit.

Trader Vic’s Atlanta: An Iconic Treasure! Trader Vic’s Atlanta never disappoints! This was our third visit in a row, and once again, it was an absolutely amazing experience. Despite the bustling crowd, we received everything we ordered, and the slight delay turned into a bonus, giving me time to explore the giant tiki temple and capture some incredible photos of the unique and iconic decor. This place is truly a treasure in Atlanta—a must-visit for anyone who loves a one-of-a-kind dining and drinking experience. If you visit, do yourself a favor: grab a strong rum drink (you won’t be disappointed) and treat yourself to something mouthwatering from the Chinese ovens—it’s the ultimate combo of flavor and flair. A huge shoutout to the dynamic duo behind the bar and the phenomenal Tempest and Destiny, who took exceptional care of us every single night. Their warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail elevated our evenings to something unforgettable. Trader Vic’s continues to shine with its signature charm, unbeatable ambiance, and outstanding service. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this is a spot you absolutely can’t miss. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—cheers!

While I’m generally a fan of Trader Vic’s, my experience at the Atlanta location left much to be desired. While the decor was impressive and captured the signature ambiance, unfortunately, that was the only highlight. The food and drinks were disappointing, and while the service was decent, the overall experience simply didn’t justify the cost. To be fair, it was an exceptionally busy night, which may have contributed to the issues, but it still fell far short of expectations. I hesitated to post a negative review, but I feel it’s worth mentioning in the hopes that the team can address these concerns and improve the experience for future guests.

Aloha Jennifer, Thank you for your feedback. While we’re glad you appreciated our impressive decor and ambiance, we’re sorry that our delicious food offerings and drinks didn’t meet your expectations and that the overall experience fell short of the standard you’ve come to expect from us. We understand how a busy night can impact service, and your constructive comments are invaluable. Rest assured, we will share your comments with our team to ensure any opportunity for improvement is seized, and we hope to have another chance to change your perceptions in the future.
