   First time dining here. Steak was huge and really good. Had a nice crisp on the outside, but tender on the inside. Baked potato and salad were good as well. Good environment for a date night.

   My husband and I dined at Tony's on 2/14/25 for our Friday Date Night on Valentines Day. We really enjoyed the delicious food, exceptional service and ambiance at the restaurant. We ordered the Ribeye Steak and Sebass for dinner. We will definitely tell others and we look forward to going back again.

   I’ve ate at Tony’s many many times. It’s one of my go to places as a single guy. I took a date… Valentine’s Day. I got the 12 ounce fillet, medium rare… And it was medium well. I could not hardly swallow my steak because it was so dry, but I did my best and left what I couldn’t eat on my plate. I’m sure I will try it again soon. I didn’t complain… I knew it was a busy night for the kitchen and I didn’t want to interrupt anyone.

   We had a late dinner reservation and waited two hours for our meal on top of the 45ish minutes it took to receive our appetizers. The food overall was good except the two pasta dishes we ordered which unfortunately were barely edible and didn’t get touched by our party. Our waiter was very kind and did his best despite how slow things were running but overall we weren’t happy with our experience and wish that weren’t the case considering we were there not only spending valentine’s day but also a birthday which was not mentioned or acknowledged though we included the details on our reservation.

   Indianapolis sets the standard. Very disappointing. The manager very robotic. So far I would only consider Indianapolis. The wait staff did shine. Menu in Indy was better, but they may have changed within a month.

    Food was good, but kitchen service was extremely slow and kind of ruined the experience. Table service also not the best…no check-ins once meal there except the token maitre’d stop by before you had a chance to taste food…they forgot to bring out a side item that had to be deleted from check at payment time (could have checked during the meal and realized the mistake and corrected.) Also, bus boy insisted on removing plates before even finished w food and needed to be called off…For the price, I expect better service and will return to my usual steakhouse in Montgomery next time. Also, hvac seemed broken in bar area….
