   We were staying at the resort and didn’t want to leave so we chose Tidal for a birthday dinner. The food was fine, maybe a little pricey, the crème brûlée was fantastic! I was mostly disappointed with the fact I had made reservations well in advance and stated it was for a 50th birthday. I didn’t expect anything from them but I would think that a simple “Happy Birthday” would have been nice. The location was very nice. Would recommend to anyone staying at the resort.

   My wife and I live in Kansas City and chose to spend our Valentines Day in San Diego. I picked Tidal and made reservations weeks in advance. 30 minutes after being sat… no service No water No bread No “we’ll be right with you.” I stopped 3 staff members… the waitress glared at me when I tried to stop her, another said “1 minute,” like I just spit on her dog or something, and then a manager who looked and acted totally befuddled, said he’d get someone over, and after 20 more minutes and there STILL was no service… AT ALL. So, we left. Never got water, drinks, NOTHING. Manager barely apologized and offered nothing in return. We spent over $100 in Ubers, had to grab dinner on the go from somewhere else at 10:00 at night… and all because we wanted a romantic dinner on the water in San Diego for. Valentines Day. Not a good experience at all… and they were charging $150/person. All the way around… bad.

   Valentine’s Day dinner - the space was nice and the service was outstanding. One of us got the filet and one got the sea bass. The filet was amazing, but the sea bass was horrible. The fish was mushy, almost like it was frozen just hours before. The broccolini had a sour taste to it. Overall an average experience.

   Yemekler ve servis harikaydı. İçerde oturmamıza rağmen kapanmayan bir kapı nedeniyle üşüdük ancak bu her zaman olacak bir durum değil . 5 kişi için 880usd hesap biraz pahalı geldi

   Everything was wonderful! Delicious food and ambiance. They helped us celebrate our daughter’s birthday with a special dessert. And their espresso martinis are amazing!

   We were a large group of 18. They had a private room for us that worked well. The service was excellent, though it might have been better to have the option to order ahead (we're staying at the resort). It took a long time to get 28 meals ready! Everyone loved their dinner: chicken, lamb shank, cod, veg squash dish, flatbread. The shared table bread was awesome. My husband and I are local are local and would choose to go there on our own-- early, for sunset on the patio (great view).

   The staff were very friendly and the ambiance was relaxing. The food was over priced for the quality provided. I have eaten at many coastal restaurants across California and this was subpar at best and a tad disappointing. We will not be eating there again.
