   Whaling Station is a Monterey Institution. Professional servers, great bartenders and you’re greeted by the manager upon arrival. This is old school service at its best. The food is excellent. Aged steaks, fresh seafood and huge wine list. Great place to celebrate any occasion.

   We had an amazing dining experience, thanks to our incredible server, Dan. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He made excellent recommendations and ensured that our drinks were always full without being intrusive. Dan’s warm personality and professionalism truly elevated our meal, making us feel valued and well taken care of. The food was fantastic, but his service was the highlight of our evening. We will definitely be back and will be asking for Dan again! Highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you get the chance to have Dan as your server!

   We went with friends here for a birthday, and we all had steaks of some sort, NY wife had beef Wellington & said it was amazing, I had the ribeye which was so tasty, and one of our friends had the wagyu, Oscar was a great server.
