   There has to be better places in Fairhope. Very small menu. To old world for me. Nice wine list tho.

   We have been to the Wash House on multiple occasions. Great location and atmosphere perfect date location. Our server was excellent attentive without being annoying. The food was on this visit was average. The bread that was put out in the table was very crumbly and cold, butter was hard as a rock. The steak tarter was very good yet not enough crustinis. My wife got the steak which was cooked perfectly. I got the sea food pasta which was mediocre at best. The shrimp were extremely small, lobster non existent and crab meat was just ok. The pasta however was terrible , too thick , barely cooked al dente just very disappointing. Dessert which we only got one was a crème brûlée my wife said was good. The Wash house is definitely a gem in Fairhope it just has become hit or miss.

   I ordered lobster bisque and crab cakes. Bisque was barely warm and crab cakes were bready lacking crab. My wife ordered shrimp and grits. Shrimp were ok but grits were mush. Our waiter was outstanding.

   I enjoyed a seat at the bar for dinner and Paige was my bartended and server. Outstanding service and such a pleasant person with whom to converse during dinner. Wyatt made a good wine recommendation and the special ribeye dinner was very good. You'll love this place, for the food and atmosphere, but the people who always make me feel welcome.

   The attention to detail is unmatched! Due to a dairy allergy, my husband cannot normally order a steak as they are prepped with butter. On his birthday they cut a special piece and set it a side for him. Both of our meals were beyond amazing. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you, Wyatt!

    Our server, Jake, was amazing. He was fun and had great recommendations. We ordered many of the specials for Valentine’s Day and the Wagyu Ribeye was to die for!
