    Very cold as they seated us in line with the front door. The music was way too loud for brunch. Was more akin to a night club. The food was marginal. Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was greasy and the fries were served cold and not hand cut as suggested.

    We always enjoy brunch at The Smith Midtown. The entire staff goes out of their way to take care of our every need. Out server, Michael C., was constantly providing us with his attention. He certainly made us feel special. The maitre d' and desk staff reacted quickly to our arrival and showed us to our preferred table. Everyone made us feel very much at home. It goes without saying that the food was tasty, hot and served promptly.

    I met with some friends to have breakfast and we really liked the place and the food! However, the service was not that great. First, when I asked the hostess if we could have a booth, she looked upset even though the restaurant was half empty. And then, we only saw our waitress three times, when she came to greet us, when she brought our drinks and took the order and then when she dropped the check. My friend’s wanted to have a second round of drinks and we had to look for her because she never checked on us when we got our food neither had her checking if we wanted some more drinks.
