   Fantastic meal. Ideal place to celebrate our wedding Anniversary. The food, service, dining room was top notch. The staff went above and beyond to make it a special night and I appreciate the staff calling me ahead of time to accommodate us in short notice. We’ll be back again!

   We had a great experience. The food and service were amazing! Highly recommend the szechuan noodles and tuna carpaccio appetizers and the wagyu special was phenomenal. Such a great special occasion dinner.

   I am a person who loves making reservations at tough to get places. Recently I’ve been to restaurants in New York City such as Torrisi and Carbone. And with confidence I can say that out of all of them this was by far the best. The food was spectacular, but the outstanding rating comes from their service. They made us feel like regulars on our first time. The combination of the fantastic burrata, lamb chomps, cavatelli, and dessert was all complimented with service I have yet to see from other restaurants that pride themselves on higher-end dinning. This is a place I will 100% recommend to others and will hopefully come back to try again in the future.

   Been trying to get to this restaurant for a long time now. I was expecting a lot more out of this place. Food was good but not really memorable. Service could of been better for a restaurant of this so called quality. Not sure if it was an off night for them but got there at 6:15 and they were already out of the special , Black Bass. Got talked into an expensive app, server said it was the best thing on the menu. Good but not great. Entrée was a little overcooked and lacked a solid flavor. Dessert was the best thing we ate that night. Glad I went but will never go back.

   We made a res a month ago and were looking forward to the fine dining experience as we have had in the past at this restaurant. The food was very good, however, the service was extremely disappointing. The server was disinterested at best, even irritated, as well as inattentive. Any question we had seemed to annoy him. I would never expect this kind of service at a restaurant that is rated so highly. We had brought another couple with us and needless to say they were not impressed. I’m sure the chef/owner takes extreme pride in the food being served, but the service should be greatly enhanced to be on the same level.

    There is a reason that we keep coming back to Saddle River Inn for both special occasions as well as just a dinner out. The food, service and ambiance are simply the best in the area. We will continue to recommend and keep coming back!
