Located at 5520 Burnet Rd. (Ste. 100), The Peached Tortilla specializes in Asian comfort food with a Southern twist. While the restaurant has brought some of the trucks’ street food favorites to the restaurant including its famous tacos and JapaJam burger, it boasts a number of new menu items influenced by Chef Eric Silverstein's childhood growing up in Asia. Highlights include the Southern Fun (stir fried wide rice noodles with brisket, kale, onions and herbs), Dan Dan Noodles and the Malaysian Laksa bowl. The restaurant also features a full bar with craft cocktails, six draught beers and numerous wines. The Peached Tortilla also features a Sunday brunch program from 10:30am-2:30pm.

    Our service was lackluster at best. If she could have phoned it in, she probably would have. We hadn’t been back in a few months and our server reminded us why.

    We sat outside for brunch, and the patio is not completely shaded. It was really hot! Staff was gracious and could accommodate moving us into the shade. Food was different and tasty. Enjoyed everything we tried: brussels, Korean steak bowl and our favorite was the brisket hash. The agua fresca was delicious and refreshing, too! There are so many places to go in Austin, so I’m not sure we will be back anytime soon, but I can recommend it!

    Great place to eat. Superb service. Food was very good and prepared with care. Drinks from bar are really good and a good local beer selection.

    Always a taste sensation at the Peached Tortilla. We enjoyed family style: 1. Appetizer: brussels sprouts (most unique flavor profile versus 'normal' charred brussels appetitzer). 2. Small plate: trio of tacos (we chose all three as brisket, each are served on two corn tortillas, so you can spilt and make two tacos from each). 3. Main: mandarin fried chicken (great marinade, flavorful chicken, so tender. Served with rice and a green side that wasn't bok choy, but some even better asian green). There were two of us; more than enough and we each took enough home for lunch.

    The menu lives up to its hype. The BBQ Pork Buns are amazing, and the primary parts of the mains are delicious. The water, however, tasted like tap — a simple Brita should do the trick.

    Peached Tortilla is consistently good. We had an early dinner reservation and were pleasantly surprised that the Social Hour (until 7PM even on a Saturday night) was still going on. Great wine and appetizers (Brussel sprouts and shishito peppers) for a very low price. We also love the hangar steak. Fun atmosphere and nice people who work here.
