   What a treat to visit this “off strip” Italian restaurant. Set in the tradition of a hideout “speakeasy” we had trouble finding the entrance! Ha! Once found, that was the best part! The ambiance is dark with table lamps. Live entertainment, quick service and fun surroundings the Original Capo’s! I had the lasagna, and my husband had the shrimp pasta. We aren’t really dessert people but we had the cannoli and it was perfect! Don’t miss this treasure!

   Capo’s is one of our favorites and we have frequented your establishment quite often over the years as we are locals. We have recommended to our friends and treated out of town guests to share in this great experience. On December 31st we arrived for our reservation and were greeted at the door by a man wearing a tuxedo (not the normal host, or the one in the hat). The host asked if we preferred a booth or table? The answer was a booth. He responded with “well if you take care of me, I can provide you with a booth.” I responded by saying that we do have a 4:30 reservation scheduled weeks ago. His response was “well we have over 100 reservations tonight and they all want a booth.” He pointed to the table closest to the door and said “you can either sit here or take care of me for a booth.” My husband and I both became visibly agitated over this type of demand. Over the years of visits, we have never had the host demand a tip to be seated in a booth. He then said, “okay I’ll just take you to a booth.” We have been frequenting your restaurant for years. I have never had this negative service experience. As we sat at our booth, before ordering we contemplated leaving without ordering. This poor service, demand for tip, attempt of a shake down completely ruined our experience. We decided to stay but it was not a good experience. We ordered, attempted to have an enjoyable dinner and generously tipped the entertainment and server as we always do. We have lived in Las Vegas for many years. I have worked in hospitality for one of the largest on the strip, opening restaurants and hiring staff to maintain those expected high service levels. This has given me the understanding of how important service, brand and reputation is in this town. There are so many options for locals, out of town guests to choose from you must exceed all expectations on service. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had in years and failed miserably in service.

   Great experience from the time we walked in the door till leaving. Tommy was so nice and makes sure everyone is having a good time and taken care of. Food is great and just an all around fun restaurant. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Vegas!

   Amazing old school live music. Food is fantastic. The wait staff is very nice and the ambience is one of a kind. Our children enjoyed it as well as us.

    Don’t bother making reservations - they don’t ask and don’t care. We we assigned to a horrible table- they should have it I. The restaurant- on a corner at a 4 way intersection where the serving staff get their drinks and go into the kitchen. Mthe back of my chair was constantly used as a place to hit, hold onto by everyone passing by. Did nine ton the wait staff cutting thru in front of our table to go to the back dining room. And to top it off the wait staff would yell at each other to talk cause the music blared so loud that was the only way to hear. Abysmal experience. Good especially mediocre and EXTREMELY expensive - 4 pieces of shrimp wrapped I. Bacon in fettuccine deserves $75 - nothing with it. DONT go here!
