A modern take on the original Village restaurant (established in 1947), our reputation is for serving Baton Rouge’s finest Italian, Prime Beef, Maine Lobster, Veal and fresh Gulf seafood. The Airline location features daily specials, a full bar and can accommodate private parties for up to fifty. We also have space for up to 15 guests in our bar area where dinner is also served.

Seated immediately, server provided us time to breathe, answered all our questions and checked on us respectfully. No appearance of trying to rush us . The food was phenomenal and service was too.

We had too request our table be cleaned after bread was served. We made reservations but was placed in the back near the kitchen. We were moved at our request. But then again moved to a made up spot in another door way

The time between ordering and receiving food was entirely too long. Also our dirty dishes were not removed from the table in a timely fashion. The noise level was too high for my liking. The bathroom was in poor condition and the table quality was poor as the tables were wobbly and uneven for my party of 7. The prices for the portions and quality were excessive. Im struggling to find a reason to return or recommend this restaurant which is unfortunate because it used to be one of my favorites.

Our waiter Dustin was very attentive and a pleasant person to engage with. The hostesses were extremely accommodating as well.

Our server Gabby was top notch! The food was spectacular as always...we don't like the red gravy as much as the marinara, but they readily substituted the marinara for us. I was fortunate that the special was one of my favorite meals. It came with a salad and a scoop of ice cream....we drove in from New Orleans and this meal was well worth it.
