Even though it was Christmas Eve, there was no reason for lower standards. The Keg is our go to place with great food and service. Not very true this visit. The steaks were ordered medium rare and served nearly blue. The twice baked potatoes was more like fourth baked as the top was actually nearly black from being so over cooked. The insides were like rocks. The baked potato was so over cooked it was stiff. The bread was undercooked and doughy. And sadly our waiter was absent most of our meal. He was very busy socializing with the busing staff. Been going to The Keg for many many years at different locations and this was a first. Hoping it is not the beginning of something.

We always have an excellent steak dinner at The Keg. This year did not disappoint! Our prime rib and top sirloin steak was very tender and juicy. The baked potato was superbly cooked. It was so well cooked that it was mashed potatoes inside!

The Keg has always been our go to Christmas Eve dinner tradition since moving to Arizona in 2015. This year our service was amazing however our waitress didn’t seem as enthusiastic as previous servers . Do not get me wrong she was very attentive , spaced out food properly and never left a glass unfilled . She served the 20% plus tip we left . Our food was amazing as usual and whoever was on the line cooking the steaks tonight cooked each one perfectly . We will be back in 2025 !

Our wedge salads had about a "pint" of dressing on it. So much that it was gaggy and we couldn't even eat it. I ordered "end cut" of the prime rib. It came out in several pieces of gristle and fat with very little good meat. It looked disgusting when plated and wasn't much better trying to eat it. I should have rejected it. Total waste of my money. The wine was really good, our water was great. Food was just lousy for our Christmas Eve dinner with our girls........

The filet was perfectly cooked and the prime rib was a little too red. We ask for an “add-on” of scallops and shrimp for the prime rib dinner and we were so disappointed. They put this creamy add-on on top of the prime rib. Totally changed the taste. Next time we will ask for it on the side. Our waitress was EXCELLENT! It’s been a long time since we experienced this level of service. Our thanks for employing this kind of individual! Merry Christmas 🎄
