Seasonal Local American Cuisine. We use many local products from local farmers. We are located about a mile west of the University of Virginia campus. Historic old home turned into a restaurant. Three small intimate dining rooms upstairs, one on the ground floor and a large weather protected patio. In the winter the Patio is heated. Family owned since 1995. Special diet needs met upon request.

    You know you are at a great restaurant when every first bite of each item ordered was followed by a reaction of “wow!”. Our waitress was knowledgeable and checked in just the right amount and was very personable. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone

    It was a fabulous gourmet experience as usual! The Ivy Inn is without a doubt the #1 Restaurant in the area. It is always so festive around Christmas! Thank you Angelo and Farrel!

    Our server Simon was great! My wife and I love the Oysters Rockefeller and we would also recommend the trout and tenderloin. We had a wonderful time at the restaurant and plan to return in the near future.

    We ate here twice in consecutive days b/c we wanted to try BOTH their Thanksgiving fixed menu and their regular menu the next night. Both were great and I'd even say that their Thanksgiving fixed menu was maybe the best holiday fixed menu I've ever had out. Tasted BETTER than home-cooked! Only complaint is their wine list should be as good as their food - needs to have some elevated options.
