   We had a wonderful welcome on our wedding anniversary at the Fox on Saturday evening. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. It was our first visit but definetly wont be the last!

   Three of us ordered fish and chips, and we all agreed that it lacked flavor. The fish was bland, and the chips weren’t seasoned, which made the meal quite disappointing

   Sunday roast - very good, definitely up there with our best experiences. Could have been hotter and definitely more veg (my carrot was halved and obliterated). Beef was lovely, chicken supreme was extremely small. Quite small portion and nowhere near enough gravy. Starter of Whipped Stilton needed stronger Stilton and punchier pear to cut through. Wait staff very pleasant. Too many dogs in the bar area. Lovely gastropub.

   The restaurant menu at The Fox provides quality meals, very well prepared. The local Knebworth Park venison, and the crispy potatoes were outstanding. Service was good as always and a pint of Wherry went down extremely well.

   Excellent food, great flavours with some unusual but excellent combinations. Beautifully presented. Would highly recommend the Rib Eye on the bone to share. Very knowledgeable staff, eager to help.

   Lovely food - will be happy to go again. Would have like it to be more cozy as in lovely country setting. Maybe a slightly bigger menu would have scored a 5

    Nice warm welcome and staff helpful. I had the fish pie after reading other’s reviews. They were correct absolutely delicious. I ordered the broccoli and green beans to go with it. Veg cooked just right very tasty but was filling. Next time I’ll go with just the pie. My husband had the fish and chips which he enjoyed. Chocolate brownie for dessert. First time eating here but we will be back.
