    Edge Steakhouse is a wonderful dining experience! We went to Edge for our 2nd time to celebrate my husband’s 66th birthday and we’re not disappointed one bit! The hostess allowed us to select our table and once seated our celebration commenced! A welcome smoked rye “shot” started us off. My husband chose the Mozzerella Cheese Stick for his appetizer and I had the Edge Wedge. We were provided an Amuse Bouche and then our entrees arrived. My husband had the Prime Tenderloin of Beef accompanied by Pureed Potatoes. I had the Pork Chop accompanied by mushrooms. Both meals were cooked perfectly for our tastes and the service was attentive but not fussy. Our server, Roberto, and an assistant were very friendly and went beyond expectations in their service. The setting is marvelous. Edge is perched on the mountainside with steep slopes below and the Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage located behind… we were on the Edge of the World with a perfect dining experience!

    Food was wonderful and drink were too. Our services was amazing he talked to use about his wife from Jalisco and helped us enjoy our drinks even more. I wish I remembered his name.

    Beautiful back drop to a mediocre meal. Timeliness of each service, such as taking our order, refills of drinks, etc., was consistently slow. The food itself mediocre at best. Four steaks ordered and not one was cooked as ordered and our waitress did not ask or notice. Over-all a very disappointing evening.

    This is simply 6-star dining in a beautiful venue with a spectacular view. Any one of these would be excellent, but when you combine them, it makes for a truly memorable experience. I chose The Edge to celebrate a 2-year long effort that culminated in a big win for us, and this venue was the perfect choice (that it coincided with the tree lighting ceremony was an added bonus). I am not a desert resident, and I can tell you that I only wish we had it in Orange County. Thank you to the chef, bar/service staff and all of the Ritz Carlton folks for the hospitality they provided us.

    The food was mediocre at best. The presentation was lackluster. At this price point one expected flawless execution- sadly it did not deliver. The timing of courses was totally out of sync. I do not recommend this establishment. Nice view and cocktails though.
