   Service was really poor. Had to ask for water refills. Ordered drinks for main course. Had to ask where they were and almost done with dinner when we finally received. The Dime did comp us for drinks. Had to-do food before we received dessert. It was never brought to us. Left without them. Didn't realize we never received until we arrived home.

   We were visiting the area from out of town, we took a chance dining at the Dime when we found it on Open Table. We used the valet parking at the Renaissance Hotel which was very convenient. We had a nice lunch with very good food. The big windows made it bright and cheerful in the restaurant despite the cloudy winter day. The service was excellent, from the gentleman who greeted us and took us to our table to the woman who served us. The staff were all professional, friendly and seemed happy to be at work. I will return here again when in the area.

   Wound up walking out. Ordered a martini, Brussels sprouts and a pizza. Received a glass of dry vermouth and the sprouts. Sent the martini back. Never received the pizza so we asked for the check and left. Not sure what the deal was but they did not have their act together. Terrible disappointment.

   It has been awhile since we dined at The Dime, but it is beautifully appointed, drinks and food all well prepared, topped off with excellent service. Thank you for a nice dining experience.

   Nice ambience. Loved sitting and looking out on center city Allentown. Menu was small and the meals were common to other restaurant menus. Service was good and timely. The food was good but didn’t wow us with new or unique flavors. I felt that I could make the meals we chose at home.

   The vibe of the place is really nice - view of Allentown, nice decor. The menu had a variety of good options but when the food came out it was very underwhelming. The flatbread was good but it’s kind of hard to screw that up. Service was slow even though it was not that crowded.

   Not happy with New Years dinner. Took about 2 1/2 hours for all the courses to come out The Beef Wellington was great! Done perfectly Everything else was cold and sent back. Dessert awful, was dried around the cake because it sat out.

   Our waitress was amazing. She was super sweet and got us everything we needed. My grandmother requested garlic bread and the cook in full view had a temper, tantrum and disrespected the waitress in front of the entire restaurant and all the customers. It wasn’t right especially because the food isn’t even that good there. This is my second time eating there and I’m just not impressed by the food the drinks or the cooks

    Date night the weekend before Christmas. This hotel is one of the signature locations in downtown Allentown. We are in Allentown often to visit family. It's been a few years since we stayed at this hotel. The Dime bar was cozy with beautiful views of the city and decorated for the season. Staff was friendly but should be trained better, talking and giving instructions from across the room during food service should not be a thing, wine list day of our visit is sub par, food was underwhelming. Stayed away from the short rib with the recommendation from the staff that it was not made that day. Chili lime brussels with bacon was good. This place could be great with management raising the standard for their food and service. This hotel is in the heart of the city and a perfect spot for what should be a high end dining experience. Shared the experience with Family and their response, "What did you expect. It's Allentown." I hear that often when we look for a dining spot in the downtown proper area, but it's sad to hear. The Dime for dining was just okay. I recommend getting a drink though at the bar to check out the views.
