   Made a reservation when I saw good ratings on Open Table. Staff was great, food was delicious but restaurant was fairly empty while we were there. There were too larger tables who left before we got our food, after that there were just a few other patrons through our time there. Took a while to get our food, but we didn't mind as it was a night out for us and we saw and enjoyed our drinks while we waited. Food was delicious, Gin and Tonic dessert was soooo gooood!!!! It's too bad it was so quiet because it's a neat spot with good food. Hopefully it was just a slow night for them.

   One of the most consistent restaurants in Calgary. Servers and bartenders are always working hard to ensure top notch service. Food is always tasty, and the cocktails are well made. A personal go to for lunch, happy hour, and dinner.

   The food was much better than I was expecting, it’s a great looking place and the staff couldn’t have done any better. We had multiple plates and I loved them all. Well worth a visit if you’re in that area and you won’t be disappointed.

   We sat at the bar and we were ignored even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. I ordered the stuffed chicken breast which is served looking like a sausage. I was surprised. Food was salty and the truffle was VERY intense. I was excited to try Derrick but we won’t be back.

   delicious, well-plated food, in a quiet space; drinks are great too . We had the chicken and salmon and did not leave a crumb. Smoked chocolate mousse for dessert was the cherry on top.

    First time to The Derrick Gin Mill and I will go back. The service was great, and the food was very good. Noise level was very high as a table of 8 men did not sit at their table but rather stood right by our table of two. Once we mentioned to our waitress that we could not hear each other speak, they moved us quickly to another table and all was good. thank you for the great evening with a friend.
