    Went for the prix fixe menu for our Valentine’s dinner. It was on the pricier side ($200+ pp including alc), but every aspect of the dinner was spectacular. Unexpectedly met with rose pedals on the table and a (optional) raspberry cocktail. All of their cocktails looked incredible on other tables, but we split a very nice Cab. All the courses were amazing, moderate amounts, but after four courses we were filled up. Wagyu tenderloin and carrot cake were 12/10. Will definitely be going back for a dinner with the regular menu in the near future. If you don’t mind the cost, then the Valentine’s dinner is a special date night experience.

    There was no meat on Sunday branch menu. A lot of grease in the dishes… Honestly, I had a hard time to find food that does not contain sugar in the sauce or fat … not my choice restaurant. Way overrated.

    Chef Brian Lewis is inspired. His cooking is layered, flavorful and unique without being trendy or tricky. Standout dishes we tried included deviled farm egg, osetra caviar bread and butter, buttered lobster ravioli. The room is intimate and welcoming. The Cottage goes in the top 10 list of our favorite restaurants...worldwide.

    The cottage never disappoints. The cocktails are delicious and the food was delicious! The deviled eggs are the best. The servers were very attentive.

    The Cottage remains one of our favorite restaurants in Fairfield County. The nomination for a James Beard award is well deserved. I sincerely hope they get recognized in this fashion. There were four of us and we sampled a wide selection from the menu collectively. Every dish was mouth watering.

    Had brunch on Sunday and was disappointed with the food. First of all, we waited a very long time for anyone to take drink and food orders, and then the wait was very long for the food. The menu is very small and limited. I ordered the frittata which was minuscule, but that was not the main problem with it. It was supposed to be a caramelized onion and Comte cheese frittata but no cheese detected and worst of all, it was very sweet—like they put sugar in it. The waiter said there wasn’t sugar, but it was way too sweet to be just from the onions. Will not dine here again.

    It was our first time there and the food was inedible. The pasta/ lobster dish was over cooked and the salad was salty. I told the server the pasta was overcooked and he never took it off the bill.
