The Cellar is the perfect setting for an intimate and romantic evening of fine dining. In 1969, artistic craftsmen of Disneyland fame created a romantic rendezvous in the cellar of the old California Hotel. Intimate and cozy, the dining room is elegant amid structured arches and cave-like walls that are deecorated with wine casks and silver lanterns. Culinary excellence abounds with only the finest and freshest foods prepared in a lighter version of classical French cuisine and finely crafted cocktails which set a benchmark for all of Southern California!

    Our waitress Jordan was awesome, attentive, and insightful to the menu. The drink menu was amazing and ordering off-menu for a Gin and tonic is still just as good as if it were on the menu. All of the courses are great, the best lobster bisque I’ve ever had. The Duck Confit was amazing. Would go back any chance I get.

    The scallops were excellent. The cocktails are a little small. The filet mignon was very small. The potato side dish was fantastic.

    We love The Cellar. Went for my husbands birthday to the annual wine sale, incredibly fun. The manager of the Cellar is an incredibly nice guy. He remembered us from the previous year and greeted our entire group. Can’t say enough about how lovely he and The Cellar are.

    Been coming here for 50 years and I always felt special. We dine here three times a year. The atmosphere and the new dress code was not as favorable as we would have wanted it to be.

    The server literally wouldn't leave us alone. She kept interupting our conversation. I was polite to the server but it made me pull attention from my gf and she felt extremely disrespected with the constant interruptions. Seems like we are broken up now. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be fun and Romantic night out ended poorly because of frequent interruptions. The servers can back off ALOT and ease off explaining every. Single. Dish!
