   Waiter was great as well as his assistant. Food was exceptional. Knowing it was New Years, was a little surprised with being at the restaurant at 11:40, we weren't offered to see if we wanted a drink to ring in the new year, of course at our expense. We were trying to get home prior to the ball dropping but was waiting on the bill. When realizing what time it was, we requested to get a drink and was told last call was over and the waiter already cashed out. We were never informed there was a last call. We weren't asking to stay at the restaurant, just a small drink to cheer in the New Year. Instead, we were driving home at that time. Any other time, I would understand.

   I consider myself a good customer of the Capital Grill. I frequent Providence and the Sarasota, Fl location. I made reservations for my girlfriend and I NYE for 815. She’s wearing heels so I drop her at the front door waiting behind the valet. He comes over to my window and is extremely rude about it. Basically yelling, you’re a valet do your job and call down. I always park across the street since it’s easier to leave. We were seated late which is no big deal. It’s crazy busy and the hostess’s were accommodating. Are sever was good. We ordered Calamari and it literally looked like the dunkers on the plate it was undercooked Are steaks were over cooked and the sides were burnt. For $350 dollars you’d think it would be better. I won’t be back after this.

   They are the best place to celebrate any special occasion! Capital grille servers are kind and professional and do everything to make you feel welcome and have the most enjoyable experience. I will continue to come here for our anniversary and other celebrations in the years to come!

   Pablo De la Cruz made our dining experience for New Year's Eve absolutely outstanding! We would return and request him for a server in the future. Everything was perfect! We were extremely pleased with everything and will recommend Capital Grille to others.

    We have dined at the Capital Grille in Providence, RI several times a year for many years, and we are never disappointed with the food or service. This occasion was to celebrate my wife's birthday. When we arrived, the Hostess acknowledged my wife's birthday, and we were seated at a beautiful table near a window overlooking the canal that runs through the city. On the table was a card and tiny "Happy Birthday" trinkets greeting my wife, as well as a free desert dish after dinner that wished her a Happy Birthday. The service by Heather was exceptional ... one of the best we've ever experienced. She was attentive to our needs without intruding or interrupting, and we enjoyed great discussions with her throughout the evening. The food was also delicious, but pricey. My Lamb was $63 ... a wonderful baked potato, $11, but it was well worth it to celebrate this special occasion, and we will return again, and often. KUDOS TO OUR WAITRESS, HEATHER. She really was exceptional.
