   What a wonderful dinner. Everything about the experience from the valet parking, to the hostess, to our waitress, and of course the food was first rate! Steaks (ribeye, filet, and strip) were delicious. Dessert a must if you have room. Wine list is deep. If you need a steak in a warm and inviting environment (and your credit card has a generous limit) this is your spot.

   We had high hopes for Capital Steak House but left disappointed. Despite having a 5:30 reservation and arriving on time, our table wasn’t ready, and we had to wait longer than expected. The service throughout the evening was extremely slow, which only added to the frustration. Even the valet parking seemed understaffed, with just one attendant handling everything. As for the food, I ordered a NY strip cooked medium rare, and while it was prepared to the right temperature, the meat was surprisingly chewy, suggesting it was not the high-quality steak I anticipated from a place like this. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations. Hope next visit we have a better luck.

   Reservation a must and if you do not mind a load room then no problem. Not the place for a quite and easily conversation. Be aware. Very good cocktails and if not to your liking server will replace with one you do. Price is expected given the caliber of the restaurant. stakes were great, done to perfection. Service was very good and well taken care of. When it was time for coffee and deserts I would note to ask serve to please brig the espressos and coffees same time as deserts and any after dinner drink so they remain hot. As for dress code, could not help but notice the obvious "sweatshirts and hoodies" of several diners though it is recommended "business casual" on CG site information. Which implies, dress appropriately its not a "sports bar". Might simply suggest signage at the check in desk to that effect that, these are not acceptable in the dinning room. Just because someone may be financially well off should not exclude them form a dress code and if your in a establishment such as the CG, dressing appropriately should be the norm.

   We go to Capital Grill fairly frequently. We have always enjoyed all aspects of the experience. This time was very unfortunate. The drink ordered from the bar was tasteless and required significant doctoring to have taste. The prime rib was cut too thick and was chewy and tasteless which almost never happens. We had to send the food back after they tried to re-cook it. Hopefully this was an anomaly and next time will be much better.

   Great! I ordered a petite filet but when it arrived it came cut up in 4 pieces that I thought was strange which made it very dry. Why would the kitchen do that?

   What a pleasure celebrating my husband 60th birthday! Joe was a wonderful waiter that made us feel extremely special and provided several food choices that were delicious.  we love the touch of the birthday confetti and birthday card. The restaurant provided and a beautiful sampling of desserts with the happy birthday saying. They were also respectful, not singing happy birthday when we requested. We will definitely be back very impressed with the valet service as well.

    We were seated and it took almost 20 minutes for a waiter to come over and take our drink order. And it was not very busy. Very disappointing.
