   Everything was great! The waiter did take my wine bottle to recap it! I realized the next morning he forget to bring it back!

   Reservation? What reservation? We had a reservation, they acknowledged. We arrived 10 minutes ahead of our time. Six other parties arrived AFTER we did. Several parties were already waiting. We were the absolute last ones to receive a table. I talked to the person at the check in stand and they straight out lied to me telling me that one of the parties was only 2 people and The Barn had tables that accomodated only two people. She must think I'm an idiot. I walked the floor, looked for ANY table that only served two people and found not one. In addition the party that was sat before has had four members not two. I do not appreciate being lied to. I mentioned this and she just shrugged her shoulders admitting she was caught in a iie. We were finally seated 25 minutes after our reservation time. In addition the food is just pathetic. We used to come here regularly and were happy with the food, service, and ambiance. Total epic failure.. The food was either undercooked, overcooked, cold, or just plain bad. About the only things that were close to edible was the waffles and pastries which you could tell were store bought. This establishment has gone down hill considerably; we will not be back. Sidenote, the wife who never complains about anything stated as soon as we were outside "that was a sad experience." We'll be letting people know.

   We were looking forward to a special night at The Barn; we had not been out to a special restaurant in quite awhile and unfortunately this visit was a bit of a miss. We waited ten minutes after being seated before a server approached. Our water glasses were empty for quite awhile without being refilled. We asked for plain butter for the rolls and it didn't arrive until some time later when we asked again. The baked potato and prime rib was cold. It wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't what it should have been either. Hopefully better luck next time.

   The food the great. The service was fine. I like fresh ground pepper on my lobster bisque and my steak, but they never offered - most good restaurants do. The water wasn’t refreshed unless we asked for it.

   Had dinner for two with my daughter and it was a very enjoyable experience. Cameron Mitchell locations never disappoint when it comes to service and the preparation of the meals. The manager stopped by and checked in with our table, he is a very kind and attentive person. I will definitely return soon for that reason but then add the fact that my twin filets were perfectly cooked and my daughter’s fried chicken dinner (especially the mac and cheese) knocked her socks off. If you like classic American steakhouse fare, this is the place for you.

   We went to an early dinner on 2/22/2024 and had a terrific time and a delicious meal. Josh was awesome as a waiter and spoiled us the whole time. The entire staff did a great job of keeping our table clear and our drinks full. Thanks for a great evening.
