   I have dined at Texas de Brazil time & time again. I am usually astounded by the level of effort & service they provide. However, this time was different. Our server, Zee, was kind and conversational—as you would expect any server to be. Me and my date extensively studied the wine menu. We decided to get a red wine from Napa Valley—Robert Mondavi, 2014. We ordered our bottle, she brought it, and told us that someone would come over shortly to uncork the bottle for us. Someone came and uncorked us. She opened the bottle for us and poured my date a glass. About halfway through the first glass, I noticed that the wine was completely different, and so I called the server over to make sure she put in the right order. It was from Napa Valley—Caymus Vineyards, 2020. She told us she was pretty sure it was correct, and went to grab the wine book. She pointed at another, completely different bottle, which was the first one on the menu that she saw came from Napa Valley. The manager, Ashley, came over and I asked her if it was the right wine. She told us that the menu isn’t 100% accurate and that because the year on the bottle says 2020 means they were out of the one we DID order and that they picked the one most similar to the one we should have got. I assured her that we were fine, and that we are not picky. I joked with her about how I just did not want to be charged for a $200 bottle when the one we ordered was $75. She went away, and then came back not even 5 minutes later, claiming that the wine that was on our ticket and given to us WAS a $200 bottle ($208). I told her that we did not order this and there was a heated discussion between the manager, the server, and another man who was not involved but I assumed he was an assistant manager. Ashley approached us to explain how this is why they come to present and confirm the wine before uncorking. That never happened. Ashley fixed our ticket & got the correct bottle. We didn’t see Zee until our check. Unacceptable service

   Service and food was great! Took a little bit to get the meat to our table but when it finally started it was coming consistently

   Overall it was an ok experience, we arrived 10 mins prior to our reservation only to be ignored multiple times trying to check in, once checked in we waited an additional 25 mins before having a table. Our waitress was wonderful, the guest seated next to us complaining about their food was a bit annoying but that couldn't be helped The food was pretty good but some of meat options was too rare and didn't feel warm Overall I'd give it a 3/5

   Arrived for reservations on a very busy evening and were seated about 15 minutes late but they were doing their best to accommodate everyone. Served was fun, helpful and attentive. Food was superior.

   My experience was nothing special. I would not recommend nor condemn this restaurant. The service was just mediocre. Our table right next to the kitchen, so our food was hot, but we were served first off ever skewer and ended up getting the overcooked outer pieces of meats. I prefer a medium rare steak, thus was very disappointed in my meal. If well done is the type of steak you like, ask to sit near the kitchen. If you are like me, you may want to ask for a table in the middle of the room.

   They won't give you a to-go cup for a non-alcoholic drink & you can't get an Arnold Palmer unless you pay separately for an Iced Tea & Lemonade.

   Honestly we had huge hopes for today and sadly it just did not make it. We went to Birmingham Texas de Brazil so I guess that’s why we had such huge hopes. When we got there we did not see a waiter for 20 minutes for water or even to greet. Which was fine we knew that they are probably busy since the holiday. Then the table next to us talked about not getting meats (namely the bacon wrapped filet). We asked early for two cuts of meat bacon wrapped chicken and bacon wrapped filet. Two I guess very requested meats. We asked twice after still not receiving within an hour mark (two hour and thirty mark from being there) Not trying to completely compare but last time all meats were offered at least once in a hour and a half at Birmingham. Neither were brought out till 3 hours when we were just going to leave. The people never received it so that must be close to 4 hours ish for the rotation. It probably did not help that my husband saw other clusters of tables get the “rare” meats around the clock. So the rotation needs to be fixed or be aware that placement is everything!

   It was our first time coming to Texas de Brazil. And we thought it was amazing and definitely will be back

   Valentines date was the worst at this place, delayed reservations- food late, I ate 3 bites and left

    Me and my boyfriend booked for Valentine’s Day.. usually we get excellent service but this time it wasn’t so great.. literally there’s so many selections of meat and options but this time the experience was just not good.. they were really busy and we were literally getting skipped over with cuts of meat it being so busy.. the only time we even got meat was when we had to flag the server down… I know this is gonna sound real bad but we were seated three black couples/tables beside us and behind us were four white couples.. we literally watched the servers skip over our table and the table beside us to serve the white couples and when we flagged the white serves down they ensured us they would be back and never did.. we literally only got meat from the black servers/cutters.. I found that quite weird because I literally watched them skip over our my table and the other two tables beside us … and even when there was still a little meat left they walked right past our tables.. I’m sure I’m not the only person who realized this as my boyfriend mentioned the same thing I was thinking in the car… I don’t wanna be that person who says it was a race issue but in this case I can definately say we were not a priority.. it’s such a shame that I had this experience because I really hoped and wanted better due to us having better experiences prior.. after last night.. I don’t know if I will ever visit that location again just because I purposely felt some type of way of the way I was treated last night.. our server Tatianna was great but I could tell she was overwhelmed.. we sat there without drinks I know for about 30 minutes… I just wished our experience would have been better… in my opinon I felt like we wasted $200.. for $200 I expected top tier service and that just wasn’t the case…. Hopefully they will do better in the future. ):
