The best service so far. My waitress was very patient as I heard her help guests pair food to tailor to unique diets. So delicious. We overate and was satisfied!!!!!

Fancy Indian restaurants come and go in NYC but Tamarind is here (and has been for 20+ years) to stay. It’s the most beautiful, elegant and welcoming with the best food and service. It’s my favorite.

Great restaurant, service, and ambience. The food wasn’t up to par this time except the appetizers. We were seated right near a lot of foot traffic even when I’d specifically asked to be seated in good location. We were a little early and then rushed to a seat. I took my family specifically to Tamarind but they were disappointed in the overall experience.

The service was great and the dishes are delicious. My all family were satisfied very much. We ordered samosas, crispy spinach, tandoori chicken, tikka masala and saag paneer. All were delicious but crispy spinach was my daughter’s favorite.

Going here is a dining experience. Superb service. Food is freshly prepared and outstanding. Ambiance and decor is lovely. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Happy and relieved that Tamarind is still around, but now in a different location (Tribeca). The ambience looks really nice and fancy, probably a touch better than their previous location. Food is outstanding as usual - vindaloo was tasty with just the right amount of spice; veggie dish was not too oily; desserts had just enough sweetness. Our servers were friendly and attentive. I think this place is perfect for that power meeting dinners or a nice romantic get-together with your partner. Definitely will repeat, for sure! :-)
