Fuyu No Kaiseki - A Taste of Winter

Dec 7, 2024 onlyKnown as 'kaiseki' - a traditional fine-dining, multi-course meal that focuses on simplicity and seasonality to showcase the natural flavors of the produce best. Chefs use local ingredients that represent the seasons, presented in a way that is beautiful yet purposeful; and where each course challenges a different cooking technique (ex. soup, vinegar, grilled, steamed, rice, among many others). Hailing from Osaka and trained in this craft, Chef Koji Kobayashi will bring a taste of Japan's winter here to Calgary's own Sukiyaki House. Dinner will start promptly after 6pm, lasting approximately 3 hours, sake and wine pairings are not included but available. We may not be able to work around all dietary restrictions, please call us to inquire.
