Influenced by the coastal classics of Chef Balfour's upbringing in Galveston married with the comfort of southern cuisine, Southerleigh boasts a curated, seasonally shifting menu that reflects Chef Jeff Balfour's innovative craftsmanship. Southerleigh houses a custom-manufactured brewery designed by Portland Kettle Works and brings brewing back to Pearl offering 15 different beers on tap. Southerleigh is located at 136 East Grayson, Suite 120, on the ground floor in the historic Pearl brewhouse.

Great restaurant! I really enjoyed it. The service was excellent. They had very good cocktails, and the food was outstanding. We had the snapper throats, which were really good, and the fried chicken was delicious. I would definitely go back.

Excellent food-my husband did say fried chicken was the best he’s had (sorry grandma)! Pineapple cocktail had no flavor. Very busy and active place so is louder than would prefer. Service could have been better- we never got water jug refilled and took awhile to get check. Would go back though!

We love our annual trip to Southerleigh, however this visit was a little lack luster. Service started off well, but we waited 15-20 minutes for the check.

I took my boss who was visiting from Michigan and he absolutely loved it!! He had the red peas and rice with the alligator sausage and I had the grouper. It is one of my wife and I favorite restaurants!!

Food was great as usual, but was delayed coming out of the kitchen. Ended up being a 2 hour dinner. The manager and waitstaff were apologetic and ended up comping part of our meal. We will be back again, hopefully the issues in the kitchen get resolved.

We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Our server Lexi was amazing and so personable. The food was fantastic too. We really enjoyed our experience and were so glad we chose to eat there while passing through San Antonio.
