Selanne Steak Tavern, owned by Anaheim Duck legend Teemu Selanne and located in a quaint, historical home built in 1934, features an upscale casual neighborhood tavern and a traditional steakhouse. In addition to the absolute best steaks in Orange County, the Tavern offers great burgers, small plates, salads and appetizers as well as an extensive world class wine list, great specialty cocktails and craft beers.     My wife and I had an outstanding dinner at Selanne Steak Tavern. We both ordered the 8-ounce filet mignon, cooked medium rare, and it was absolutely fantastic—perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. We started with the wedge salad, which was superb, featuring a unique and delicious topping. The sides of mushrooms and green beans were equally impressive, complementing the meal beautifully. Our server, Nigel, was exceptional—knowledgeable, attentive, and truly enhanced our dining experience. The service and ambiance made for a wonderful evening. We will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend this incredible restaurant to anyone looking for a top-tier steakhouse experience.

    Came here for a belated Valentines day dinner. The service was amazing. They put so much care into making us feel welcomed and answering all our questions. We will definitely be coming here again it was such a pleasure and the food was fantastic.

    Our first dinner experience at Selanne’s was spectacular. Our server Guillermo was friendly, informative, and attentive the entire evening. The food was coursed properly and timely. The food was delicious — both our 12oz NY Strip and 14oz Ribeye were prepared perfectly. We also accompanied these with green beans, carrots, and assorted salts, all great additions. We enjoyed our cocktails as well. Overall, we highly recommend Selanne’s for your next date night or an upscale evening with friends.

    The food and experience is always top notch at Selanne’s. This is a special occasion dining destination for us. We were there to celebrate a birthday. The food is always delicious tasting and outstanding! This is the best place for steak in south Orange County!

    I’ve always enjoyed the food at this place, but last night it was on an entirely different level. The Special King Card and Chef’s Cut were beyond exceptional—perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and simply unforgettable. The service was top-notch, attentive without being intrusive, making the whole experience even better. And the dessert? Absolutely heavenly. A flawless dining experience from start to finish!
