It took a while to get our meal and one order came 5 minutes later than the rest. Expensive, as most City Island seafood restaurants are; however the portion are oversized. I found the food under seasoned: fried calamari was thick, bland, no salt. We left it. The manager (warm and attentive) took it off the bill. My spare ribs were a bit overdone. I like the NE clam chowder—had to season it—but it had plenty of fresh, good tasting clams. The house salad although all iceberg lettuce was good and came with a little treat, briny tiny shrimp.

Restaurant was very good. We had to keep our coats on the whole time. Our server, Keith was good. The wait for the food was long but the seafood was excellent when it arrived. Didn’t live the pasta marinara or the mixed vegetables but all other food was very good.

Food was good but service was disappointing. We were celebrating my mom’s milestone birthday which they gave her a birthday lei, we didn’t order dessert but I felt they should have sang Happy birthday. Service was not great. We will return for a regular meal but definitely NOT celebrate any occasions there!

The experience is always great. Our waiter Manuel was very nice and attentive. The other helper server Benicio was very thoughtful and gave us extra plate of the olives 🫒 cheese, mushroom with pickle vegetables plate yummy. We go three times an every year for the past 7 years. Look forward to our visits in 2025.

Attended for the $32. Two 1 1/4 lb lobster special. Good value for the money. My party of 4 ordered two. We ordered 2 x King Cut Prime Rib. Arrived under cooked over spiced undersized in my book. All 4 baked potatoes were undercooked. Waitress was terrific. Food “coming out” was slow even for drinks. Salads were crisp and garnished with Mandarin Oranges and a cup of small cold shrimp. Quite good. Desserts presented a good selection as well.
