It used to be our go to place. Lately the food and service quality has been in decline. They are off their game by cutting on little things. Last night may be our last visit.

As someone who lived in Tokyo for 4 years, this was the antithesis. Food and was ok, but not exceptional. Service was timely, but impersonal. Noise level was the new normal for the U.S. - intolerable and inconsiderate. Should have followed my first instincts and turned around at the front door.

The rolls were very small and not worth the $25 each.

We really enjoy dining at Sasa and have been visiting the restaurant for over six years. The food is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making each visit a pleasant experience. However, during our most recent visit, we noticed that the dessert portions and main dished had been reduced while the prices remained the same. Despite this, Sasa continues to be one of our favorite spots for a great meal. They have vegetarian options as well.

We had a reservation for 8 o’clock. We showed up at 8:13 they let us know that we were in their 15 minute grace period but We weren’t seated until like 845 and a lot of people who came after us were seated first, so they probably gave my table away, which is understandable but they should’ve just told me. They also got rid of the outdoor patio, which is really cool. They let us know that the sushi would take 45 minutes to come. It only took about 30 minutes. Other customers were complaining about the wait for sushi. The food was good as always

Even thought i picked sasa for our special valentines dinner because the place is normally very good, i have to say that i will never choose this place for a special event again ! Rude hosts at the door , late table seating , food was just okay .. I mean it seems like they were overbooked and didn’t know what to do then .. a hot mess ! That’s for sure
