    Sardi’s is a must stop on any of our NY trip from DC. The food, service and Broadway atmosphere is always perfect. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu selections. A reminder, around theatre time, make it a point to book a reservation. It is a staple of many theatre goers due to a perfect location. Besides the foods, our bar selection was great. Last night I asked if Sardi’s offered an Irish coffee, one of my absolute favorites. Our server, Wilson, said they offered one of the best. It indeed was, served with a pot of coffee, ample whiskey and saucer of fresh whipped cream. It was concocted at table side and has become the benchmark for future orders. Wilson was a pleasure. He said he was relatively new to Sardi’s but I hope that he is still there on our next trip. He was a personable and perfect server.

    Very disappointed to be sat in a cramped table next to bar. Jostled by wait staff multiple times as they served adjacent tables. Service was slow. Food was good. Really wish we would have been informed that we would be seated on 2nd floor, ambience far poorer than 1st level, where I have dined previously.

    Our server was great, but the food was not unfortunately. The menu had a VERY limited selection and I honestly felt I could have gotten a better steak at Applebees. No wonder I was able to get a 5PM reservation on a Saturday, two days before we saw our show.

    My withdrawal and I returned after 42 years to celebrate her 65th birthday. Still an excellent dining experience.!!!
