   Return of head chef Ben Hillan has brought a refreshed menu of locally sourced fish, meat and produce. Highly recommend the Black Cod, Dungeness Crab Salad, Prosciutto wrapped Halibut and Steak Bavette.

   New farm to table menu. Everything was creative and delicious! The view is over the top! No need to go to Hawaii for an outstanding sunset. The farmers market salad was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the Wagyu Bavette and Lobster Hokkaido Scallop entrees. The Basque cheesecake was also a hit!

   We asked our waiter, Gael, for a hamburger, he said that’s only on the bar menu, you can’t order from the bar menu in the restaurant. I went and talked to the bartender, Marc, he gave me the bar menu and said we could order from either menu in the restaurant. So we ordered from the bar menu from our table in the restaurant.

   Good food, great view and wonderful service! We were staying at Seascape and chose this restaurant for dinner so that we could stay on property. We started with the grilled octopus, which was very tender and prepared Spanish style with potatoes, sausage and a very delicious herb sauce. My companion had the sea bass, which was marinaded in soy and came with white rice and bok choy. I had the grilled salmon with wild mushroom risotto and grilled asparagus. The risotto was meh! But the salmon was cooked perfect with a grilled crunchy exterior and a soft interior. We finished off with the tiramisu. The food is average but the amazing view and service made for a nice evening.

   Sat outside on the patio (they have plenty of sun umbrellas), it was a gorgeous day, the view of the ocean was amazing, food and service were great, very relaxing and fun place to eat!

   Our food was very good. The clam chowder was very tasty with lots of clams. The cup of soup was quite large, probably twice the norm. We ordered the salmon and halibut. Both were cooked beautifully, nicely crusted, yet moist inside. We dined on a Monday night in July 2024 and there was only one other table in use inside, so it was very quiet. There were about six tables in use on the patio. The view is spectacular. The menu choices are somewhat limited, but enough to please. There were more options than listed with an online menu.

   The halibut was good, not great and we had to send the NY steak back. Medium came out very rare. For an upscale restaurant, steak should come out perfect everytime.

    One of my favorite places when I come to visit my Aunt in Aptos. Menu was very limited. Chowder great, grilled beef sandwich dry, burger good. Great service and patio view!
