The idea for The Kitchen came from a vision of a restaurant that would provide something different - a refined, yet casual establishment that would provide modern cuisine with a comforting twist. The cuisine at The Kitchen embraces Asian influence and ingredients including the freshest fish, meats and seasonal vegetables. The presentation is clean, simple, natural and uncomplicated. The beautiful and elegant architecture of the building mirrors the contemporary concepts in the food. Enjoy a large outdoor deck during the long summer nights or warm up in the cozy main dining room in winter.

Jennifer was an excellent server! Petite filet flight was perfectly cooked, salad very fresh, delicious soup. Great meal. A little expensive but we had a delightful time.

This is our 5th time in Jackson, and by far the best meal we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. This is a cutting edge big city restaurant in a small community. Lots of seasonal choices and farm/range/river to table items. The elk tartare was exquisite and a perfect example, as was the local trout. And the blood orange crème brûlée was an amazing way to end the meal. Our server, Jean-Paul, is a real pro.
