A Savannah native, Charlie Golson’s interest in the French language and culture took him to Paris. After a long stint in the fast paced hotel kitchens of Washington DC, he was ready to move back closer to home. It was at that time he was able to open up a one room French bistro. I have visited Bowdies on multiple occasions. It is a very good steakhouse. The food is steakhouse food and the service is excellent. It's expensive for this island, but it's a great addition. I like Bowdies.

We were so excited to discover that HH Prime still offered the regular menu as an option on Thanksgiving! Their food is always delicious (fish of the day was sea bass) and Michael made it such an enjoyable experience! Thanks for making our holiday!!

It was our 3rd wedding anniversary. The experience was beyond our expectations. Our waitress, as well as our servers, were on point in every way. We were treated very kindly and really special the entire time. The food was very tasty, hot and delicious. We have no complaints and are looking forward to returning!
