By the Alabama state law we do not participate in any corkage fees, however we have an extensive wine program.

The food is delicious!!!! The atmosphere is very nice. It’s very clean and well decorated. We loved our meal here both times. Very unique dishes and drinks. You can tell the food is very fresh!!! We love this place.

We had a wonderful meal at the Royal Scam. I had the rib eye steak special after starting with the chicken soup with basil dumplings. The soup was deliciously creamy, perfect on a cold night. My husband had the Land and Sea, filet mignon and crab cakes, both were cooked to perfection. We finished our meal by splitting the bread pudding, our favorite dessert. The Royal Scam’s bread pudding is some of the best around, full of toasted nuts and fruit with a warm bourbon sauce.

The restaurant is located in the Old Armory building on the corner of Hwy 59, and Section Street. The Old Armory has been brought back to life with her architectural elements in place and her history forever and fondly remembered by the community. Local and Company is locally owned and operated and was designed with the local community at the forefront. Open now for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, and brunch and dinner on Saturday!

My first experience visiting this beautiful restaurant was marvelous. Entering this comfortably chic surroundings was topped only by the gracious hostess & servers. Food selection is challenging given the diverse choices. This, no-rush environment is very refreshing. We will be returning.
