""We are specialized in Omakase, and we have Lunch and Dinner Omakase Course."" Dinner Omakase will be $ 245 and 19 dishes, and Lunch Omakase will be $175 and 16 dishes.

We have 3 Omakase seatings daily... 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm or 7:30 pm. Any allergies will need to be noted prior to the reservation date, so a special menu can be prepared. (We cannot accommodate the guest with all shellfish allergy, vegetarian, Kosher, gluten intolerance, or if you do not like uni)

Diners must cancel their reservation 48 hours in advance or will be subject to $75 fee, or $100 if the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours. If you do not show up, the fee will be full price of the course.

Owner was really friendly and funny guy. Large portions and great quality. Get there early if you wanna get a good seat. Owner does a little stand up during the experience. Overall would come back again

Sushi Sasabune offers a unique Omakase-style sushi experience. We specialize in using as much local fish as possible, creating a meal that can be found nowhere else in the world! Sasabune is a specialty sushi restaurant, meaning we do not serve tempura, noodles, California rolls etc. All nigiri are served with its own unique sauce and topping, meant to be eaten as is. At Nori Bar, we make a darn good sushi handroll and are proud to say so. Our handrolls meet at the intersection of the freshest seafood from Hawaii and Tokyo, fluffy Koshihikari rice, and hella crisp nori. This isn’t your grandpa’s traditional sushi restaurant, but that doesn’t mean he won’t like it, too.

Best overall value and Edomae/Tokyo-style sushi in the Pacific!! The assorted sashimi plate for two under $40 is a steal!! My fav Nippon brew, Asahi Super Dry, on tap…….plus a healthy variety of sakes and shochus for those that prefer moonshine!! Easy ordering using the table tablet. Super friendly service by the floor staff and the most skilled and experienced Japanese chefs working hard behind the bar. What more can you ask for??

Always wonderful local service! Poke, sashimi, sushi pizza and lobster dynamite is always outstanding! Our 4 sushi rolls were fresh and delicious! Side Uni on rice and our dessert was amazing! Our fav place to go for dinner on the south side!!

It was absolutely enjoyable! Their HAPPY HOUR had a wide choice of reasonably priced food and drinks on the menu from 4PM - 6PM. Our waiter was helpful when asked what were customer favorites and each dish was a winner. We will definitely be making this one of our go to restaurants in Kakaako. Parking is just across the street at the Ward theatre.

We arrived earlier than our reservation & they seated us immediately- I had read reviews & ordered accordingly- We began with the Golden Sliders and Lollipop rolls…both wonderful. My “Boss Steak” was prefect- melt in your mouth med-rare NY steak ( had sauces on the side ) & my husbands “Butter Me Up Roll” was received very well- They are leaving this Mall at end of December 24’- Hope they reopen on Kauai by time we return ❤️
