Chartier was named the Best New Restaurant by Avenue Magazine in 2016, one of the top 10 Best New Restaurants in Alberta by the Globe and Mail, and made the long list for the Best New Restaurants in Canada by enRoute Magazine. Start to finish everything at the restaurant was what I hoped it would be… and then some. Being from out of town I wasn’t prepared for the difficulties finding parking and then the scavenger hunt to find the place after we found an underground parkade. So leave yourself a little extra time for that! But oh so worth it. Definitely be back!

It was a great place to eat, more so because it was one of the few places open for brunch on New Year's Day. The ambience was great: I had a great visit with my son and his partner.

Food was amazing and beautiful. So were the mocktails and lattes! We love the flowers but think there should be a picture area for people. I think they were understaffed since service took forever. We were there almost 30 minutes before they took our food order. Also the table was full of cups from multiple rounds of drinks that were never taken away, but again I think they were understaffed. All in all I like this place and can't wait to go again.

A great wide variety of foods for a fair price. Excellent table service, prime rib server was very friendly too! A few too many children for my taste but the restaurant can’t control that.
