We were running a few minutes behind our reservation time so they were very accommodating when I called to let them know. Got seated right away and our server. Colleen did a fantastic job. We come about 2 to 3 times a year to your location and always seem to have a good time. Food is always good

Experience was lovely. Service divine. Sadly the tea sandwiches were “meh” almost stale bread. Other than that - highly recommend.

I have the Sable Fish, and it was delicious. It was laid on top for the most delightful, mashed potatoes and served with Green Beens. The Clam chowder was rich and outstanding. My friend had the Steelhead, and he loved it. The food is great, and the restaurant is highly recommended

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Schuckers after not visiting for quite some time. It was just as fantastic as we remembered. From the starters of raw and baked oysters to the mains of Lobster Campanella and Cioppino, every bite was delightful. The food was amazing, and our server was exceptional. If you haven’t been in a while, or if you’re new to the city, do yourself a favor and visit. It’s a Seattle staple for a reason.

About the restaurant
An understated storefront hides a coveted skyline view—just one of the many ways you could underestimate this longtime cafe on Mount Baker’s main drag. The menu, the sign—even the name—are a bit of a throwback, but current owners Guy Devillier and David Hoefer took over in 2018 and keep things attuned to today. Carbonara packs more nuance than you might expect, the slightly crackly pizza’s better than it has to be, and the bar pours lambrusco and negroni. No wonder tables are loaded with a diversity of diners.
