We had 10 people in Ruth’s Room. It was such a perfect spot for catching up with old friends. Everyone could hear each other. Their service and food were amazing. Would definitely go back.

Big fan of Ruth's and I make it a point to visit different ones when traveling, so I've been to many. The Woodland Hills restaurant moved from a dead shopping mall to a building nearby. The prior location was nice for a quiet, relaxing dinner. The new location seems to have caught a sports bar vibe and my past two visits landed in a dining area which is open to the bar and mere feet from crowds cheering the games on TV. The floorplan lacks the level of separation between the bar and dining rooms that most of the locations seem to have. Reseating wasn't an option given we had already waited 40 minutes despite having a reservation. The result was literally giving up on having a conversation with my wife for most of the meal. Perfectly consistent food and professional service have made Ruth's Chris my go-to place for affordable fine dining for about 25 years. This location delivers on food and service, but I'm unlikely to revisit this location due to the profound lack of peaceful ambience.

The food was amazing! The sweet potato casserole was scrumptious! The steaks were great! The sea bass was also quite tasty. The best was our server, Amanda. She got everyone's order correct. Amanda also answered all of our questions about different items on the menu. The best was she came back and checked on us throughout the meal. Amanda is the best server we have had at this location. The runners were great with getting our food out and filling our water glasses. Our only issue was the people in the front were not particularly friendly, helpful or kind.

Service was great very attentive and all staff checks in whether it was the manager or busser. I think this is a very important aspect in restaurants. Everyone is willing to help. Steaks are well seasoned and runners explain about hot dishes. The lobster Mac and cheese was not my favorite. It’s a bit too cheesy it leaves that cheese taste behind. Creamed spinach and garlic mash potatoes were a great pairing to the steaks.

The Petit Fillets were to die for. So delicious and served so hot. Our server was Incredible as well. Her name is Dajah. Hope to get her next time.

Our server was good but the service from the bar and kitchen was bad. The steaks were very fatty and the french fries had to be sent back twice
