    We ate at the bar. Lovely piano musician playing. The salad was lovely. And we each had an 8 oz filet, so we brought home leftovers! Finished with excellent bread pudding! The meal was excellent. I had a glass of Syrah and my partner had an Old Fashioned. We would recommend Ruth Chris for dinner!

    Although Ruth’s Chris has been bought by Darden Group. The food still wows me each time we go there. Carlos was our server tonight and he was beyond amazing taking very good care of us throughout the entire meal. Being very attentive and providing excellent service!!!

    Hadnt been in a couple of years, think they are resting on their laurels. No comparison to capital grille, or ocean prime or eddie vs. Food just pretty good. Service was great.

    We always celebrate birthdays and special occasions at Ruth Chris Tampa. The steaks are always excellently prepared. I love their creamed spinach. I tried their sweet potato casserole for the first time when I took my wife there for Valentines Day. It too was delicious! I must admit, the last time we ate there my wife tried their crab cake. She wasn't impressed. But then we are from Maryland! The atmosphere and setting is elegant. If celebrating a birthday, they mark the event with decorating the table and providing that special someone with a desert with a Happy Birthday wish spelled out in chocolate. I made a special request for Valentines Day and asked for her favorite desert to be billed in advance with an "I Love You!" message with hearts. That way it would be a surprise. They filled my request without a problem. It is definitely more expensive than Longhorn or Outback, but you get what you pay for! Definitely the restaurant to celebrate that special occasion!
