The restaurant is beautiful inside and everything was wonderful. Our service was great. I feel like the steaks were a little more expensive for no particular reason. Don’t get me wrong, they were good, but price wise, it didn’t add up. Also, not a fan of the Cesar salad. Lots of places try to out their own spin on it and I wish they wouldn’t.

Good food and good service but not 5 stars for the price. For 5 stars I am expecting Ocean Prime level service and this was more middle of the road.

Christmas Eve, expected it to be busy. We’re seated and it took several minutes to be acknowledged. After about 10 minutes we got some water poured. Ordered drinks which were forgotten about until we asked about them. Long story short, it was really loud and noisy and the service was terrible. Not the waiters fault. He had large parties and at least 5-6 tables. The food was very good. We’ll go back as we always enjoy this restaurant

We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner in the dining room. It was busy yet everything was perfectly cooked. The Ahi Tuna was excellent as was the pork tenderloin.

We eat here every Christmas Eve for the last few years. This past trip was simply riddled with less than stellar service. Maybe it was a greener staff due to holiday or something, but here is what transpired: 1) Wine was ordered and they pour from a single decanter thing into your glass at the table, which is fine. The person pouring my glass missed the glass almost entirely - wine all over the table cloth. 2) Quickly sprang into action to what I thought might be moved to a different table, but instead we had to hold all our glasses and silverware while they re-did the table cloth. Unfortunately when a table cloth is removed you get to see the quality of the table surface underneath and it wasn't that appetizing. 3) Rather than go get me a new glass of wine, they just placed my original (with arguably 40% less wine in it at this point), which was surprising. Even more stupid - the outside/bottom of the glass was covered in the spilled wine so all that did was make another mess on the new table cloth, not to mention I had to touch a wet glass on the outside...and not a full glass mind you. 4) Our waiter (Tom) did ask if they brought me another glass, which I appreciated but when I said no, I was expecting him to pick it up and get me a new full pour - he didn't he just sort of ignored the situation. 5) Our waiter was a little rough around the edges with his demeanor and presence at the table. Maybe he was new, stressed, but it showed. We asked to get a veg substituted on one of our dishes and they didn't do that. Not that big of a deal we are not going to send it back or anything. These little things just totaled up to be a really annoying dinner. The food is always good and cooked well.

We had a great dinner tonight for my husbands 50th birthday. The servers recommendations were on point and we enjoyed every bite of our meal. It was a 10 out of 10 experience and we will definitely be back.

Jason was our server. He took great care of us. He made nice suggestions. The cocktails were wonderful. Which each had a different entree and all outstanding. My only negative comment…. $12 for a basket of French Fries? That right there tells you that all prices are inflated. Bottom line, Roaring Forks is consistently delicious. The pork & green chili is NOT to be missed!
