   Overpriced for mediocre food and service. The best food we had was my 4 year old daughters fried shrimp and fries. Crab cake looked like a sea-pac pre packed crabcake from Food Lion. The sangria was weak and didn't have a good taste at all. I usually don't post negative reviews on anything but for the price I felt I needed to.

   I’ve enjoyed Riverstone before, but brunch was disappointing. Most of the food lacked seasoning or was overcooked—especially the biscuits, meats, fried chicken, and prime rib. The shrimp scampi was bland, and desserts were hit or miss. Grits and the omelet were the highlights. Service was minimal despite automatic gratuity—we were barely checked on, and I had to ask for more water. I hope this was just an off day, but it left a poor impression.

   Riverstone Chop House is my favorite restaurant to go to for special occasions, but I will NEVER go for a buffet there again. The food was bland, COLD, and for some dishes, over or under cooked. While in the parking lot, I asked a couple what they thought. They were also surprised, like us, thinking that the price should have been extremely lower for the quality of the food. We arrived for our reservation and were gone within 30 minutes.

   The Mother’s Day Buffet at this restaurant required a more experienced chef to manage occasions like this… the buffet was not managed efficiently. They ran out of clean plates several times and the food was not replenished in a timely manner. Buffets are not their speciality.

   We went for a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet with reservations at 1:45, we arrived and were seated quickly. Went to the buffet and the food was old or gone. We got a plate of what they had and it was cold, hard or bland. We waited for over 30 mins for them to bring out more food. The Mac and cheese came out and tasted like pure chemicals. We told the manager and she went back to the cook who argued that it was fine. She made him taste it and he admitted it was scorched.. they brought us a plate of French toast that was also burnt. At that point we asked for the check. Then an older man came over and asked if we were satisfied with our experience and I was honest ans said no. He grumbled something, asked if we were brought more food and I said no, he again mumbled something about “taking care of the check” and walked off. We continued to sit there waiting for our check. I asked 2 waitresses about our check and both had such an attitude that the manager had “taken” care of the bill. This was our first time visiting this stand will also be our last. You are not set up for a buffet service and your customer service lacks. Our Mother’s Day was ruined by this experience and not once did anyone show any true concern. We were not the only ones complaining but yet no one was treated with respect. When you charge $40 per person the least you can do is offer food that can actually be eaten.

   Wonderful atmosphere in the main dinning room. Every staff member we interacted with was very polite, friendly and professional. The steak we ordered were amazing- flavor and cook temps were spot on. Thank you for a very relaxing evening.

    Our waiter Charlie gave us just the right amount of attention and didn’t rush us along - will definitely be back
