It's a superb setting for a pre-Christmas lunch treat. The food was fantastic and just enough to delight the taste buds and leave enough energy for shopping in the afternoon. Really good food in a lovely cosy and historic venue, will definitely be visiting again. I had haggis, I’ve been to Scotland many times and eaten it there but this one is definitely better. My wife had steak and ale pie which was the best, meatiest pie she’d ever had.
