- SSteveSan Francisco Bay Area •16 reviews5.0Dined todayLove this place, have been enough times to have tried lots of the dishes, and have never been disappointed. Always great food, friendly efficient service, perfectly prepared cocktails, excellent wine list, very creative and enjoyable desserts that aren’t too big. Nobody in our groups have ever tried the “Airline Chicken”, think I’ll try that one next time, to figure out what that means. We were seated in a comfortable booth. Our server was friendly and professional—welcoming us with complimentary warm sourdough. We got Elk, Duck, and fish. All entrees were fantastic. The dessert was also good. We were glad we made the drive from Mammoth.More infoThe Restaurant at Convict LakePrice: Expensive• Continental• Mammoth•4.9

Ribeye also delicious! If you are in mammoth I suggest you go!More infoMorrison'sPrice: Expensive• American• Mammoth•4.4
- CChristopherLos Angeles •1 review4.0Dined on Oct 20, 2024Hands down one of the best ribeyes I have ordered from any top tier restaurant I have been to. Mood was nice, music was just right. Just the right amount of service to get what we needed and never a bother to speak to. They didn’t feel overbearing (not a mouth full of food when they asked if we needed anything) Great experience over all. Would recommend.More infoWhitebarkPrice: Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Mammoth•3.5
Discover Sierra National Forest
Yosemite, Mammoth Lakes and Sierra National Forrest encompass the part of California where nature, peace and quiet, and fresh produce and meat are appreciated. The restaurants and food are set to the backdrop of several of the greatest scenes of beauty the country offers. You cannot go to any place for food where at least a portion of the menu, if not the entire menu, is comprised of local fare. Many places have an organic vegetable side and serve fish freshly caught from the lake and beef from a local farm. Keep your eyes peeled for signature dishes such as grass-fed, local beef filet and burgers, fresh trout with lemon-infused butter sauces, and Cajun blackened rock fish.
