   I made an online reservation for 3 people on a Monday evening. My husband and I wanted to go eat there to use the e-mailed $20 Birthday coupon I received from RA before it expired. The front entrance was so crowded we had no space to stand while waiting to be greeted. When we finally were greeted, the host said sorry she was new and seemed frazzled while trying to find my reservation. I told her we needed a high chair for my two year old daughter who tagged along. She said ok and showed us to our table. Once we sat down (right next to the noisy entrance), she asked if we needed a high chair and we politely said yes (already told her 5 seconds ago). She came back a couple mins later and said they had no high chairs but could offer a booster seat. That’s weird because we were regular guests there and always got her a high chair. Also weird, we didn’t see even one other child anywhere using one so that was peculiar. We brushed it off and made do with the booster seat that had no buckle. We got comfortable, were deciding on menu items to order and no one EVER came to greet our table. We waited 15 mins and while doing so, heard SEVERAL people coughing over and over. We decided to just leave!!! On the way out, the hosts didn’t even seem to care that we were leaving already. No goodbye or anything, just weird looks. Really sad that a pregnant woman (myself) and a two year old (they’re notorious for needing prompt food service) were ignored! We won’t be going back there after that. Very disappointing.

   It was busy but good. Some things were forgotten. However they took off a $9 appetizer for the inconvenience.

   What a great sushi bar restaurant!  Truly amazing food, and over the top customer service!  Took my grand girls there twice during the Christmas week because they were treated so well and not talk down to.  The girls loved being able to order for themselves and be taken seriously.  This will definitely go down as a go to place for me.

   This review is based on our visit on Christmas night. To start, I want to acknowledge that our server did her best under the circumstances, and I assume the managers and staff were doing their best as well. I truly appreciate them working on Christmas, allowing me to enjoy dinner out with my friends and family. That said, I believe the restaurant—and others in similar situations—should choose to operate either as a To-Go/Pick-Up establishment or as an in-house dining establishment when staffing is limited. Informing diners that extended wait times are due to a high volume of To-Go orders is frustrating for those dining in. Unfortunately, the quality of the food fell short compared to past visits. Dishes arrived sporadically for our party of six over a 45-minute period. One couple had already finished their sushi rolls before the other two couples even received theirs, along with their entrées. While I understand the challenges of balancing operations on a holiday, this experience left much to be desired.

   Pleasant experience as usual. We got our favorite table, right in front of the working chefs. Besides the sashimi assortment, we had the ra chips and ra ra shrimps, both good and filling.

   Still reeling from the disappointment. Both my wife and I agreed that just one of our four dishes was edible. We will not be back. While the manager removed the three offensive dishes, they never spoke to us. Our waitress was wonderful and provided excellent service.

   Food was a little slow to come out but overall had a great dinner for our daughter’s birthday. Server was excellant!

    Food was not as good as our last visit, but sub par service is what made the experience negative enough to want to share it. From the first moment, server was stiff and unfriendly. The worst part was when she brought one soup and salad to our group of three. She said that the sushi platter advertised as for four people should be served as if it’s an entree for one. We advised that must be incorrect, especially since it was handled differently our last visit. We asked to see the Manager and after at least five minutes, the server arrived back with the additional soups and salads and a quiet little, “sorry about that.” We’re expecting she may be new, but that’s no excuse if you customers feel not welcome at your restaurant. If she had just been friendly and gave a descent apology for her mistake, it would have helped a lot. We will think twice before returning.
