Zou Zou’s is a lively and modern Eastern Mediterranean restaurant from chef Juliana Latif, who spent years working at some of the most notable restaurants throughout New York City, including The NoMad. The menu is inspired by and celebrating the cuisine and flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean region, bringing in influences from Lebanon, Israel, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, and Jordan, among others.

Zou Zou’s is located within the Manhattan West Plaza, on the ground level of Pendry Manhattan West. If arriving at 33rd Street (between 9th & 10th), follow the walkway to the plaza, turn left, and find the Zou Zou’s entrance on your left.

If arriving at the Ninth Avenue entrance (at 32nd Street), walk through the plaza towards Whole Foods – Zou Zou’s will be on the right side of the plaza just past the NHL Experience Store.

    We were fortunate enough to have a party big enough to try the Chef’s Table prix fix menu so we got to try a bit of everything and dishes were served family. All dishes were delicious. My favs would probably be the duck borek and the katalfi dessert. The kaltalfi cheesecake had a beautiful presentation. The filling was light and not overly sweet. The whole ambience inside the restaurant was nice as well.

    Food was interesting but not appetizing, and cocktails were underwhelming. Not bad, just no ‘wow, I have to come back for that.’ Our server and service were wonderful.

    This was my first visit. My nephew was dying for chicken which he personally loved. He was is “haven”. Unfortunately, I ordered the lobster salad Cobb salad. The lobster was delicious, but the salad dressing was not to desired. The waiter was pleasantly nice and removed the cost. As I am a pescatarian, I was not able to enjoy the chicken.

    Every dish we had was amazing. Full of flavor and such different unique flavors. All of it was great. This was my second time there and I would definitely go again.

    We had a fantastic dinner, and the service was excellent. We look forward to returning to try other items on the menu. We recommend getting the dip as a starter!
